I had a quick question about one of the products on smithfieldfoods.com, so I sent a message not really expecting a fast response. To my surprise, they got back to me the next day, which felt like a "nice" change from the usual waiting around.
The reply was clear and the person was polite, so I appreciated that. I did have to send one follow-up to get all the details I needed, so it wasn’t totally "perfect," but overall it was a good customer service experience.

I used to grab this bacon regularly. Easy breakfast, nothing fancy. But lately… it’s like every pack is a different product. One week it’s so salty I can barely eat it. Next week it’s bland and kind of sad. Same brand, same package, totally different taste. I kept giving it another chance, but I’m done now.

I’ve been trying to pay more attention to brands that are upfront about things like animal care, waste, and climate impact (not always easy to sort through, honestly). Smithfield’s sustainability info was easy to find, and it does seem like they’re putting real effort into it. I wouldn’t say everything is perfect, but I like the direction they’re going in, and it makes me feel a little better about buying from them

I ordered from Smithfield Foods i was happy with portion size. The packs had good amount in them and didn’t feel skimpy at all. It fed my family and we still had leftovers, which is always a nice thing. For price I paid, it felt like good value and I’d order again.

I used to pick up Smithfield products now and then, and I didn’t think too much about it because the food was fine. But after reading the news about the animal welfare issues, I just don’t feel right buying it anymore. I know no company is perfect, but if pigs are being treated poorly, that’s not something I can just ignore. For me, it feels like a reasonable line to draw, even if the products themselves are okay...

The order arrived a day later than expected, which was a little annoying, but I’m sure everything was still fine. It was packed well and still cold when it got here. The tracking seemed to update okay too. Not a perfect experience, but i’d probably order again.

It cooked the food evenly, which I was happy about. It did take a bit longer than I expected, so I kept an eye on it just to be safe and make sure nothing overcooked. Overall, it worked well

I ordered from Smithfield Foods, and unless I’m mixing up the delivery day, I think it showed up a little earlier than I expected. Either way, the packaging was solid. Everything was sealed up nicely, and the box wasn’t crushed or beat up, which is always something I worry about when it’s food.

The only reason I’d probably give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was some extra plastic inside that felt a bit unnecessary. I can’t remember if I noticed it right when I opened the box or after unpacking everything, but it stood out. Nothing leaked or looked damaged though, so overall I was happy with the order.

I’ve checked smithfieldfoods.com a few times now for the same products, and they’re always unavailable. I was already in a bit of an annoyed mood the last time I looked, so seeing all these items listed but not actually being able to buy them just made it worse. I really wish they’d do a better job keeping their stock updated.

I do like that the ingredients are listed clearly on most product pages. It makes it easy to know what you're buying. I just wish the allergen info stood out a little more, because sometimes I have to look around for it.

I thought the flavor was fine overall, nothing amazing but not bad. The nutrition looks okay too, but wow the sodium feels a bit too high for me. I probabyl wouldn’t eat it too often because of that

I picked up some bacon and pork, but when I opened it, the smell was a little off and the meat looked older than I expected. The taste was only okay, so it wasn’t a great experience. I also wish there were clearer instructions or labeling on how fresh it was or how it should be stored. I probably won’t be buying it again anytime soon.

I thought it tasted good and the prices seem fair for what you get, it’s not fancy or anything but it hits the spot and I’d probably grab it again.

When I open it, I kind of automatically check the usual signs, color, smell, texture, and so far nothing has seemed off. No weird odor, no slimy feel, just meat that looks fresh and ready to cook.

Last weekend I decided to make a big breakfast for the family and picked up some Smithfield bacon, thinking it would be a nice treat. It cooked up just fine and looked good in the pan, so I was expecting that smoky, savory bacon flavor. But once we all sat down to eat, it was kind of a letdown.
